As an alternative to Hydrogen Peroxide (The easiest way to remove blood from fabrics is to use Hydrogen Peroxide. Wet the area with fresh Hydrogen Peroxide and it will foam as it destroys the blood. Dried or heavy stains may require several treatments. I learned this from a surgeon. The enzymes in the saliva are genetically preprogrammed to break down the proteins in the blood. Soak the stain with spit, let sit 30 minutes, rinse with clear cold water; repeat if needed. Afterwards, luander as usual. The stain should be gone. I have used this many times for myself and others, and the stains disappear. G. Victor Paulson, NY, entered 2006-05-13 |
