I live in Raural Maine & every year I make my own wreaths & garlands for our holiday decorating. Gloves don't work for wreath making so before you are done your hands will be covered with stickey sap. About 10 years ago an oldtimeer gave me a great tip. When your hands are full of sap, put a few tablespoons of common cooking oil on your hands and rub well, follow with a good washing with soap & water. All traces of sap will be gone.
