Cure for a Mean Rooster
A fellow was in the feed store one day explaining to the owner how mean his rooster was. It pecked the hens, it pecked the eggs and it pecked his wife when she went to get the eggs from the nests. The thing was, this rooster was a present from his father and he didn't want to get rid of it. He asked the owner,'What would happen if he took a file and filed down the rooster's beak so that it couldn't do any damage?' The feed store owner didn't think that would be a good idea. The rooster might not be able to eat and could starve to death. A few weeks passed and the fellow with the mean rooster was back at the feed store. The owner asked if he was still having trouble with the mean rooster. The fellow replied, 'No, that rooster's dead.' The owner asked 'Did you file it's beak?' The fellow said. 'Yep.' The store owner asked 'Did it starve to death?' The fellow answered, 'No, I think it died when I put his head in the vise.' ......... ..
