As a child I was easily entertained. Give me a hair oil bottle and I had a bull dozer to build roads in the sand under an old China berry tree. A new fishing bait and I would wear the color off it. But the most amazing thing I ever saw happened on a late summer evening when my daddy & mama had finished the milking. In those days you didn't go in until around dark so we were sitting in the yard enjoying the last of the day and talking about the dreams my mama & daddy had when daddy saw a spider fall from a limb next to us. The spider instantly crawled back up and fell again. As our attention was focused on the spider time began to slip away, and before we knew it an hour had passed but the spider had spun a complete web and was allready reeping his rewards. I took my 16 yr. old son out on the front porch the other day just before dark and would you believe it he got an opportunity to see the same thing. Amazing how time doesn't change ( everthing)
