The Gathering
The “gathering” is what we call a get together of the people here on this board. A couple years ago it was decided it would be fun for us to get together and meet the people we have grown to love, or just met, face to face. It has been hosted by peanut and D the last two years. I think we all agree that it is time for someone else to come to bat. It will be hard to follow in their shoes, but I would try my best. The gathering is held on Labor Day week-end. There is no cost to attend, the meals we have together are “potluck” affairs. The host provides a place to eat and enough tables and chairs to accommodate everyone and plans when meals will take place. (Nothing is written in stone, we are a flexible group) We have some good cooks who bring food to prepare on site , the host will provide a place for them to do so. I can provide space for three or four campers, or RV’s depending on size. can provide electricity for the above. I have three restrooms, with showers if needed. There is a very nice RV park three miles from me, if you prefer. The place is Poulsbo, Washington. Look at a map of Washington, I am west of Seattle, on Puget Sound. We have two very good motels, and a lot of B7B’s three miles from me. One lovely one just a half mile down the road. Later on I will give names and phone numbers. Will also list places to go and things to see if you plan your vacation to include the gathering.
