Country Memory
I'm not and old person I was born in the late 70's but I still remember my country life. I loved growing up in the country with the dirt roads and plumb trees on the side of the road. I love getting up early in the morning going fishing with my mother and staying on the pond all day and not returning home until night fall with a bucket full of fish for her to fry in her wash pot out side over a fire. I love to go pick black berries and and waiting around for mom to to cook her famous blackberry pie, that would turn my teeth purple.I use to love for me and my neices and mephews to get on the back of the pick up truck and wait for mom to take us to the creek so we could go for a swim and catch crawfish to play with. I use to love when darkness came in the coutry because the sky would be fillied with beautiful stars and I could hear the sounds of crickets until I fill asleep.Growing up in Opelika has given me so many wonderful memories of my mother that I will all be bless to have had
