1/3 C whole grain elbow macaroni
1/3 + 1/4 C water
1 pinch of salt (if desired)
1/3 C grated cheddar cheese (or your choice)
1/2 tsp milk and a dab of butter.
Place pasta and water into a large coffee mug or soup mug in 1100 microwave @70% power for 6 minutes stirring after every two minutes. I covered it loosely with a sheet of wax paper (or parchment) to keep it from boiling over.
After 5 1/2 minutes add; the grated cheddar cheese (or your choice)
and milk and dab of butter.
Stir in to the pasta and heat 30-45 more seconds.
Let it set for a minute or two.
The extra liquid will be absorbed.
