1/2 c. melted butter
2 c. graham crackers, crushed
2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
3/4 c. softened butter
1 tsp. vanilla
(1) 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, well drained
4 med. bananas, sliced
(1) 8 oz. Coolwhip
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 oz. jar marachino cherries, drained
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine melted butter and crackers in 13 x 9 pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 350.
Beat eggs abut 4 mins.; add powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla.
Beat 5 mins.
Spread over crumbs. Chill 30 mins.
Spread pineaple and arrange bananas over pineapple.
Cover with Coolwhip.
cover and refridgerate 6 hours or overnight.
Garnish with cherries or strawberries, if desired.
Place toothpicks around cake before covering to prevent topping from sticking to cover.
