1 can (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
1-1/4 cups uncooked white rice
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 teaspoons chili powder
3/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 pound ground beef, browned (Opt.)
green onions, chopped (garnish)
In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is done. Garnish with green onions.
Cooked this dish up one night for dinner, adding the beef. We liked it! Enjoy!
