Sauerkraut & Dogs & Dumplings
Ingredients:
1 bag Sauerkraut
1 package of what ever you want to use (dogs, smoked saugage, knockwerst, kilbasa ect.)
1 pinch of nutmeg

Dumplings

2/3 cup flour
1 Tabelspoon parsley
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon dried basi, tyme or dill weed
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
2 Tablespoons cooking oil

Directions:
Put half the bag of Sauerkraut
in a large pot. Place dogs in laying them flat. Cover the dogs with the remaining Sauerkraut. Add the pinch of nutmeg. Heat till hot and bubbling.

Dumplings
Mix flour, parsley, salt, baking power, and herd in bowl. Mix in oil and milk. Mix with fork till mixed up good. Spoon over Sauerkraut into five or six mounds. Place cover over pot and let cook for 10 to 12 min till done. Do not open lid till cooking time is done or the dumplings will fall. Searves 5 to 6.
