1 1/2 cups flour
1 teasp. baking soda
1 teasp. baking powder
1 teasp. salt
1 cup vegetable shortening (criso)
1 cup sugar
1 cup lt. brown sugar
1 teasp. vanilla
2 cups old fashioned oats
2 cups Rice Krispie s
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Oven 350. Mix together first four dry ingredients. Beat together the next five ingredients. Add all dry ingredients last to the the egg mixture.
2 Tablesp. of dough to form a ball. Bake on parchment paper for ten minutes. Cool for five minutes.
From what I remember this makes a big batch. Also the gal who gave us the recipe said you can add just about anything you want to this recipe. She just chose Rice Krispies and Old fashioned Oats.
