6oz flour (plain or self-raising)
4oz soft butter or butter substitute at room temperature
1 tablespoonful of cold water
small pinch of salt
Weigh all ingredients into a bowl and mix with a strong tablefork until a ball of pastry forms,
roll out to required size and use as pastry recipe suggests. That's it - and it's fail safe fantastic every time, and MUCH better than your Mum in law can make.
