2 - 2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt (I use less)
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 pkg. or 1 Tablespoon of yeast
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup water
Mix 3/4 cup flour with sugar, yeast, salt. Add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes on medium. Add 1/4 cup flour; Beat 2 minutes on high. Stir in enough flour to make stiff dough. Knead 2-3 minutes. Place in greased bowl; cover with towel; let rise 15 minutes. Divide dough in 12 pieces, make into balls and place in a round 8 cake pan. Let rise 15 minutes.
I usually cover with white dishtowel. (like feedsack) Bake 375 degrees 20-25 minutes.
This recipe is over 40 years old. I do not remember making it with a mixer, as I am a by hand person. But the recipe is somewhere in our house, but I found it from another gal who hung onto it also! Enjoy!
