8 Tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/2cups graham cracker crumbs(from 12 whole crackers)
1 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 can (14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut (opt.)
Oven 350 degrees. Melt butter in 13 x 9 glass or ceramic dish. swirl to coat the sides w/butter. Spread graham cracker crumbs evenly over bottom. First layer the chocolate chips, then the butterscotch chips, and then the nuts over top and top with coconut.
Bake on center rack for 25-28 minutes.
Let the bars cool for 40 minutes before cutting them. 6 on the long side, 5 on short side, 30 bars.
(Bars can be put in another container on wax paper. Or line pan with aluminum foil to lift them out onto cutting board.)
