Slice And Bake Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 teaspoons baking powder
5 - 5 1/2 cups all purpose flour
sugar sprinkles (optional)
chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Cream butter, shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla together. Add baking powder and flour.

Roll dough out into three logs and chill for at least two hours.

Slice and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with sugar or nuts, if desired.

Bake at 350 dgrees for about 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
