Ingredients: Pastry & lattice top for 8-inch pie 3 c. pitted tart cherries 4 drops of almond extract 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. flour 1/8 tsp. salt Directions: Mix cherries together with sugar, flour, extract and salt. Pour into pastry shell. Dot with butter. Place lattice top on, sealing with water and crimping edges high. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer.
