Morels--soak in cold water-make sure clean,insect free. 15-30 minutes
Parkay stick marg., cut into 4-8 Tablespoons (usually use 2-4 T.)
Flour, 1-2 cups (unbleached)
salt and pepper if you want.
Melt 2 Tablespoons parkay in nonstick skillet on low. In the meantime, slice the morels horizontally, that is starting at the top tip and cutting into circles. The bottom of the stem, I cut off--out of habit, since it s near the soil, etc.
Put morel circles and stems in a brown paper bag that you have put flour in. SHAKE until morels are coated.
Turn skillet up to medium heat, and place the morels in the medium hot Parkay and sauté for 15 min. on each side until Golden brown. Enjoy!
