1 1/4 c all purpose flour,1/2 c cornstarch, 1/3 c powdered sugar, 3/4 c butter, 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel, 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
Frostin; 3/4 c powdered sugar, 1/4 c butter, 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel, 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
Mix all cookie ingredients. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Divide dough in half. Shape each half inot 8 x 1 inch roll. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours. Bake in pre-heated oven 350 degrees. cut dough in 1/4 inch slices. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 12 min. Cookies will not brown. Let cool.
Combine all frosting ingred. Beat at medium speed untill fluffy. Frost cooled cookies.
