isn't that what the Germans said when Hitler was killing the jews? i see the GAY MARRIAGE post below. what don't you care about? the idea of the union or that they are breaking the law or both. we have judge Moore in ole albam with the commandments, and they can't sleep until they have him fired and thrown out of his job, but this mayor can thumb his nose at the law and nothing happens, and while i'm at it, if we change parties in the white house we will be controled by the UN. within 2 years, blue helments and all.

This is a church issue,,,,,NOT a goverment one it became a goverment problem when there is money to be made from licences and other fees .... You really think that either party cares one way or the other about this and who/what marries ? ... Money pure and simple ...

Remember the old saying "Give em an inch and they'll take a mile'??? Well this here crap started years ago when these folks started popping outta the closet....then they formed a Rainbow organization....then they over-run San Francisco and elected their own weirdos to public office....and now comes the big push for same s#x marriages....I ain't buying any of it one durn bit and it is my hope that the majority of the folks in this here Country don't buy in to it either. They have equality as far as I am concerned....they have the freedom to takes their chosen perverse lifestyle and leave the Country with it.....France is the first place that comes to mind for a good landing zone....

I'd like to catch one tryin' to "get out of the closet", I'd slam that baby shut, and then run the exhaust from my truck under the door.
If anyone thinks that this gay trash is "OK", then they should have no problem with anyone having s3x with an animal and marrying one.
I'm just torn between a goat and a chicken.

Yep, burry head in sand and its not happening. Sadly to many fall for it.

They say its an equal access issue, No it's not, Weather gay or straight, you can marry as long as it the opposite s#x. Applies to the both of us equally. Nowhere does it say special right by "choice" of partner. Allow all or none. Man - man, woman - woman, mom - son, dad - daughter, brother - sister.

Well I want to marry the one I love. Well people love animals too and last time I checked my dog has more rights than I do. Who are you to prevent me from marital bliss. So now it's Man - dog, woman - cat, etc...

Open this gate and you better have an ark.

Under the equal access argument, I will just "declare" my self a minority. Find a judge to agree, open a casino and live tax free. Let you foot the bills for a while. Or I could get a group to declare crack is our god and hold crack parties under the guise of equal access to freedom of religion. Invite a bunch of teens and call it Non-christian religous education. Plus its not baised on christian beleifs, so I can pass out litature in public schools and have it added to the curriculum. Maybe I'll run for office and as mayor pass out handgvns to pre-teens and argue 2nd amendment over rides state law and it doesn't specifficly say you have to be an adult. Endless cycle.

Sadly the ideas this great country was founded on are being removed piece by piece, regardless of out come, as not to offend the very least (as in few) of us. It use to be the good of the masses took president over the desires of a few. Now I get to forfite over half my salary in taxes to support a junkie popin out babies every year, a bridge to span a dried up river in the middel of nowhere so one fella can cross it twice a year, and people who "break the law" can watch cable TV and eat cookies. Funny how when a right-wing Judge broke the law, we on the right stood up with the left and said it's wrong to break the law regardless of the cause. Now the left pulls the same stunt and is praised for making a stand. Just who is the hypocrite here.

As for the issue, they can do what they want. If SanFran wants to have it, let them. But they must follow the process, have the law changed first (thats equal access). AND Don't be pissed when OH says not here. Problem is they won't. They couldn't get the law change so they try now to nullfy it by breakin and arguing in court that its an equal rights thing. Once its approved somewhere, anywhere, they'll canvas the country claiming it everywhere. Reguardless of the laws.

What they are really saying is "don't cram your bigoted beliefs down my throat, but I have the "right" to cram mine, up yours".
Horse puky!

Allowing two people...    Posted 02-20-2004 at 14:51:15       [Reply]  [No Email]
...of the same s3x to marry validates the union. It means that under the eyes of God, the marriage is blessed, or when not a church wedding, it means that in the eyes of the law, the union is accepted and approved of and sanctioned by the government.

The government is made up of the people. Not all the people agree that this union SHOULD be sanctioned based on moral views. It's a deviation from the plan. An offshoot of the word 'deviation' is 'deviant'. Yes, it is deviant behavior, for which the synonyms are: ABNORMAL, aberrant, anomalous, atypical, deviative, heteroclite, preternatural, unrepresentative, untypical

The Contrasted Words are: NORMAL or NATURAL

God intends for two people who marry to be of the opposite s3x, otherwise he wouldn't command us to 'go forth and mulitiply', and he wouldn't give us the appropriate equipment. If we were intended to marry within our s3x, we would be able to spontaneously reproduce. It's common sense. If one still questions why it should be considered wrong then perhaps they HAVE no common sense, which is a common modern affliction.

It's a simple matter of plumbing. The breas was intended for nourishment of babies, the wom and vagin were intended for development, growth and nourishment of babies, the peni was intended as a tool to procreate and discharge waste, the anu was intended as a download port... not an upload port. I am sorry if anyone finds this offensive but it's the birds and the bees the way I was taught it.

We were meant to procreate, fill the earth, and populate the world. No matter how much money they have, two males or two females cannot procreate and bring forth a human that carries genes from both parties, therefore extending the bloodline, and building a family, and DIVERSIFYING the population with new biological material regularly.

No matter how slanted the view, family is defined as...'a group of persons of common ancestry'. Marriage is defined as...'the institution whereby men and women are joined in a special kind of social and legal dependence for the purpose of founding and maintaining a family.'

The fundamental question is, is it right or wrong, is it appropriate or acceptable, because if you don't deny it, that means you accept it, and if you'll roll over for it, then prepare to spend a lot of time rolling over. In my opinion, if someone will turn a blind eye to such a fundamental wrong then, well, it just scares me a little.

Will it affect me personally? The extent of that remains to be seen. If I own a duplex and live in one side and rent out the other and due to my convictions will not rent to a same s3x couple even if they are married, does that mean that under the protective 'marriage' umbrella that they can sue me? Probably. Does that mean I'm prejudiced? Call it what you like, but I will never tell my kids that it is okay, and will not demonstrate that I think it is okay by allowing it next door to me when I can prevent it with a simple...'sorry, I'm not buying'.

Our base purpose on this earth is to marry, bring children into the world, raise them with the skills needed to function on the earth and then marry and raise their own kids. That's it. Everything else is secondary. How much money you have while you do it is not important. Any inventions you come up with are mere bonuses. Any fame you acheive is merely coincidental.

This is another insidious ploy to force acceptance of an unacceptable lifestyle on people who decline to accept it. In other words, if the LAW says it's okay, then what's YOUR problem? That's what they want. They want to law behind them so that we are forced to accept them and agree with what they are doing. It ain't gonna happen. Not with me anyway.

Very well said! I'll fight 'em 'til the death!!

The very fact that they cannot procreate is the biggest problem with homos*xality. By not bein able to do it the natural way men and women do; they must use "influence" to get new homosexuals. This is done by the current liberal teaching in the schools, the media and movies and music.
By making the behavior seem acceptable there is a better hope of recruiting new homos*xuals. Without that type of acceptance they do not increase numbers as fast as older ones die, since natural reproducing is impossible.

Both VERY good points. There has to be a way to perpetuate, increase, maintain the population.

Realistically speaking, yes there are a lot of things going on in this world that could be focused on and attempts made to change them, things that are way more threatening and much more important than same s3x marriages, but the simple matter is, we did not bring this fight to them, they brought it to us by continually demanding special treatment and shoving it in our faces, which really sticks in my craw.

I look at it this way....

Say I robbed a bank tomorrow. I was arrested. I maintain that I am a good person, they got the money back, I pay my taxes, I didn't hurt a soul, maybe instead of sending me to prison they could just fine me a little and let me go. Because I didn't hurt anyone or affect anyone really I should get special treatment right?

What I did was wrong and it was a choice I made knowing that it was wrong and that there would be consequences, and now after knowing all this up front I still made the choice to do the wrong. That seems to be the way gays view things.

....'I know I can't have a child naturally so you must give me one. I know that adoption is difficult if not impossible without two parents in the household so you must let my partner and I be considered a 'couple'. I know we can't get the same tax and insurance benefits as a NORMAL couple so now you must let us BECOME a normal couple by letting us get married....'

I will never be convinced that the majority of these people are not making a conscious choice (at some point) to engage in this lifestyle. Now they want to be merely 'fined' and not pay the price for this choice. Sorry, it ain't normal, it ain't never gonna BE normal and I will never agree that it is normal under any circumstances. I still maintain that somewhere along the line it is a learned behavior, and they can unlearn it, or deal with it like any other affliction. They need to make the allowances for it, not the rest of us.

Cindi, You is my kind of "upity woman". I think Marci and you would probably get along. She's kind of "upity" too.

Well said Cindi and thank ya for that....methinks the battle has just begun on this issue hard as they whine for this we have to keep saying "H11L NO!!!"

The sad part of it is, that we have no control over anything that is not between our own front and back doors, and even that is hard to manage at times. When the fab five show up on the television the channel is changed, when Ellen Degeneres' face is on the front of the t v guide, it's not purchased, but left to sit in the rack. When the question of homosexuality comes up from one of the kids it is stated in no uncertain terms that it's wrong, wrong, wrong.

Cindi, I agree with that method.
The second any "entertainment" show or personality trys to convince me that it is an acceptable and "normal" and terrific life style; that is the last time that show or person is welcome in my home. The moment they show up in any form on my TV or radio, I change channels and stations immediately. I do have control of that.
