I'm in the Kansas City area; son-in-law is from Carthage... if you've seen the news about the firefighter who died on the job this past week, that's my son-in-law's brother. We need more Missouri folks here, so jump right in.

Archie    Posted 02-20-2004 at 17:10:48       [Reply]  [Send Email]
toolman i have about fourty acres we mow for hay. It is fescue, clover, and orchard grass. I have been fixing fence this winter. We are on a busy highway. Need good fence. I didn't have any cattle for several years. If one got out i would be at work. Sue didn't like chasing cows.We have twenty acres of timber. The other twenty is rough pasture.

sounds like a nice place you have there archie,i wish i had more timber on mine,i have planted some but will be long gone before it matures haha, yup you sure need good fences if you have animals especally if your along a busy highway. 80 acres will keep you busy now that you have retired anyways.
