Like Anne Murray said, "We sure could use a little good news today."
And you gave it to us.

Hey Bob, glad to hear that she is OK. I lost my mom thi spast November. Hard thing to deal with. She had a stroke during open heart surgery, and passed away ten days later.
I am glad that yours is improving, and I hope that she continues to do so.

i lost mine a few years back too , then dad not long after and my wifes went all in about the same time period, not a day passes that i don,t think of them and miss them while you have them.

I know what you mean Toolman. I lost my dad back in '74. Almost evey day some little thing will happen, and I'll think to call mom and tell her about it, then remember that she isn't there anymore.
Like you said, if the folks are still around, spend time with them, learn from them, and love them. You'll miss them when they are gone.
