Looks Like the Governator

Schwartzeneger is going to support the conservative movement and act against the illegal gay marriages being performed in San Francisco. And here y'all thought old arnold was a liberal just cause he married a Kennedy. Now I think it's high time a bunch of you old farts do your duty to get our country back in line and I reckon the best way to do that is to get the women folk back under control and keep em at home where they should be. If women are taken out of the work force it would sure help to make sure all the men could be the breadwinners in the family again, and lord knows women have no place in the military or in any type of job that would obviously be better performed by a man. Heck I would guess all the conservatives and old fashioned types on here would like to see women' right to vote taken away from em as well. Anyhow if we are gonnastraighten this country out and bring back all the biblical teachings women have to learn to be subserviant to men and treated as second class citizens again

Arnuld has took a stand, made some decisions, gave some directives and informed San Francisco how the cow eats cabbage. All good.

Looks like the Governator..... Is the kind of man I'd want to vote for if that's his kinda stand. And IMO the kind of man we need a lot more of in our govermental offices. In MY Bible it says that God created Adam & Eve...NOT Adam & Steve. Not trying to cause an argument here, just stating facts. And as far as going backwards to a time when women had no rights, I wanna see just how many men out there would agree with that. Especially if he's ever been hurt or out of commission for awhile. Did the wife set on her tale and let them lose everything? Or did she get a job and do her best to keep their heads above water? Actually, I'm just gonna stop right here with a response to this thread and hope like anything you were only being sarcastic and trying to be funny<<<< IMO you failed miserably

Looks like the Governator has MORALS. That stuff is Biblically WRONG, period.

"..Anyhow if we are gonnastraighten this country out and bring back all the biblical teachings women have to learn to be subserviant to men and treated as second class citizens again" LH

I must have missed that teaching in my bible. I did not see the subserviant or second class citizen part.

My very thoughts exactly. I musta missed that part too. We were asked to steer away from threads that pertained to politics and religion among others as they often lead to useless arguments. I stayed out of the gay-marriage thread for that reason, to respect Kims request. It seems ok for others to take their shots at believers tho and we are supposed to just be silent?
Where does LH get his Left-Handed ideas?

Hi there brother, You feeling better? I sure hope so. Just teasing you the other day about the "jewels".

I have stayed out of this subject more than my nature wanted to. I just had to comment on LH's "bible information". You know what I mean. I try to make comments that do not make us Christians look bad. Sometimes it is a test but I plan to pass the test. I always try to remember who the "enemy" is, not anyone who posts here or on any message board!

Nice to have you back on board. It is a gorgeous day here in SE Texas!!

I don't know your religious beliefs or even if you have any and I am not asking. But, if you believe the Bible, your querry is answered in Ephisians 5:22-25. If wives honor and obey their husbands that is good. But, read on and it tells you that you should love your wife enough to die for her. Think about it.

Anything Gay in my book is wrong.thats my opnion

Now on to the last few lines of your post.
I think I see what your saying...like if the woman stayed home and raised the family that thats the way things should be, I agree somewhat but its almost impossible for that to happen now adays...
Taking away thier voting rights and other rights? I don't get that part, and I don't see that "straightening out the country".....
When you take away thier rights you turn them into slaves...
I'm kinda torn between oldfashioned and thier rights....No I do not like to see them die for our country....but is'nt that thier choice?Women are just as patrotic as men.
Besides I know a few ladies in the military that can kick mine and your butts with no problem...I still don't like it though ....
I do believe ladies should act more like ladies than "some " do....notice I said some...
I love to see them in dresses but hey jeans are not that bad either. Then again Men should act more like Men too, and they should treat them like ladies not like slaves....
It's alot to think about. Going backwards I don't see that happening....The biggest problem I see is "morals" .

The morality of this country is what we should be trying to fix.

I don't have all the answers, I do however strive very hard to keep my moral fiber intact,
and to teach my daughter my beliefs...

There's alot of things I don't agree with in my country...I try my best to change the things I can...and holler very loudly about the others that affect me.

Since I am one of the biggest contributors to my husband's tractor fund, I don't see him asking me to quit my job in the near future. I'll tell him about your idea, though, just to see if he's an altruistic soul. Perhaps he could be pursuaded to give up his fleet of tractors "for the greater good".

Making my Wife quit working...

I have to live with her...

If all she had to do all day was the stuff I do, she would find out just how much fun chainsaws and tractors are, and then where would we be???

Yup, we are accustomed to a certain standard
of Living.
My wifey works & I'm retired. She likes it.
Wellll, I'm a better cook than she is.
She's a much better Artist.
Hey it ain't all bad.
She buys her own guns. Gets her own ammo too.
I'm gonna get a reloader & teach us both to reload.
She's a heckuva girl.

As far as going back to the "OLD WAYS"....
Guys you can't put the toothpaste back in the
tube. IOW, things go "Forward",Not BACKWARD.
Frith,...' Til Later.............
