Chipmunks in the vents

I presently live in a trailer...I have a chipmunk in my heating vents. It's been able to snap the mousetraps...and other simple devices. I don't want to use a poison that would be toxic to my house pets, including a cat who can't get at the damn thing. I would prefer if it wouldn't enjoy where it is presently trying to reside, Is it possible to have something like bleach alternative to this problem? So maybe it could go back outside to raise havoc. I was wondering if anyone had any helpful hints I would appreciate it. I am going to put some sunflower seeds in the 5 gallon bucket outside my home as well.

I don't know if this will work on chipmunks, but I recently purchased a plug-in rodent eliminator that causes an alternating hum in the wiring of the house, which runs mice out. The noice, which does not bother dogs, cats, etc., is annoying enough to rodents that they leave the premises. It works pretty slick!! I got mine at Tru Value - they have a special on them this month.

Not to belittle your problem, but I can see the basis for a new country song here... I've Got Chipmunks in my Vents and Squirrels in My Attic... or???

- The sunflower seed 5-gal bucket bath will work outside. You need to put some catch-all glue-traps in the house(vents).

I don't know that I would put out seeds. You mihgt end up inviting the rest of the family in. Sorry don't know any patented chipmunk getter outer methods. Maybe if you put in a raft of traps ,six or eight of them, that he could'nt get around?
