Indian Corn

I'm thinking of putting in a acre or two of ornamental corn, what dad always called "Indian Corn". We have a river bottom meadow that my brother didn't even bother to hay last year and I hate to see it grow up so thought I'd try a kind of an experimental plot.
Anybody had any experience? Problems? Source for seed?

I have grown indian corn for decoration at Thanksgiving time. Worked ok. Had the same problems with bugs that sweet corn has, so you can't ignore insecticide.

I buy seeds from Burpee, Park and sometimes Jonnie's. Don't remember which catalog they came from. The posting down aways about seed companies going under has a reply that lists a ton of seed catalog companies, their websites and which are good ones. Pick a couple and request a catalog.
