I hate messages that begin with "this is a true story" but this one really is. Anyway, I have a good friend who is a vet. She was doing her residency at another friends when she got the following call. This elderly lady called in and asked to speak to a vet. Being low man on the totem pole, my friend took the call. This old lady said that she needed to get her cat "fixed" To which my friend asked, "do you want it spayed or neutered?" The elderly lady replied "whichever is cheaper."

That's funny!
We had a fellow bring a young stud in to be gelded a month ago. He admitted total ignorance and asked if it was true that were just "cutting the tip off" (circumsizing) and what was the purpose of gelding a horse. People are funny.
