there is a show on rfdtv rirht now, prarie farm report, that shows some inventions farmers came up with out of necessity. Deadcarp, are you on there?

nope missed that one - they read one of my poems "innkeeper" on prairie home companion once though. farmers hafta be inventors - it's one of the few jobs where you can lose money 30 years in a row & still come out ahead. miracles take a bit longer. :)

RFDTV has some good programming, but way too much horse stuff. They really need to get some new material and get more creative.

I love that Prairie Farm Report. Fully as interesting if not more so than US Farm reports.

yep, i remember now. we had freinds on the outskirts of town, on the sunset hi way. Big curve, house on right. Joyce and To-do Babineaux. She died of cancer, he's still playing boray every night as far as I know. Ate my first turtle at their house. Later, kids gotta have the net for homework.

If it is a big red brick ranch house that your're talking about...my Aunt and Uncle bought that house a few years back! It is right there on the curve-right hand side of the road....just past Soileau's Dinner Club!! :^)
