Anyone going to see "The Passion of Christ" movie?

We keep going back and forth on it...probably will go this weekend.

No one's talking about it at least to me.

Ian says people from churches everywhere are buying extra tickets and handing them out for free. I asked why, he said they want it to be the biggest movie hit ever since it's about Christ. I just don't want to fight the crowds, we hardly ever go becuase of the crowds. When we go out to eat, we go during the week, when it's not so crowded.

I have not been in a movie theatre since 1986...

This movie just may get my butt into a seat...

I don't plan to see it. I already know what happened.
Last movie I went to see was Jurassic Park (at my wife's insistance) :( Before that it was Back to the Future.

I will see it when I can see it for 3.99 at home. It has been my experience that the more hooplah there is over a movie, the less you should have to pay to see it. The true reviews won't be out until later this week when people I know personally go to see it. I heard it's extremely graphic.

I have seen previews and was just talking with a person that saw it last night, yes it is extreemly graphic, some say gore. Church rented the place for a week from Saturday so I'm sure that I'll have a belly full of other's opinions before I see it. From what I understand there is nothing in it that does not come directly from the scriptures. That converts some, leaves some people heated up, some crying, some pondering and some laughing. Sound familiar?
