....didn't last long. The wide-angle camera incident a couple days behind, I've been to busy to worry to much about it.
All the calves trucked to one central location, the Vet came for his schedualed biannual farm call. Brucilousus inoculations, Joknees blood drawn, Preg checks, horns removed, bulls docked, and other-things forgotten, his visit was a good start for a busy day.
Re-trucking the calves, sorting them out, some going this way`n'that, others put in sick bay until scalped heads heal, still others lodged in barn for weaning.
Cows also, were in the mix for sorting, some going out here, others in to a couple lots down the road.
And in betwenthere somewhere I had lunch rather than postponing it until a slower day. That was pretty much it,
Supper was good. Clink evenmade me a favored strawberry cheese cake. As one gr=daughter might have put it some years ago, "Yum!"
That was yesterday. Then Herr Clink brought up our bathroom. Something about finishing it. Myself I figure its alright. It ain't outside. Her concern is the outside has been blowing in for the last five years. Personally I don't know what the all of a sudden hurry is. Afetr all I did put on a new roof a couple years ago, only after getting our feet washed every time it rained before that.
What didn't help my cause any was my giving in, then to top it off I mentioned something about which way a car was going that was over a mile away. The excuse, I'm not sure I can see what I'm doing, anymore just may not be working anymore.
Yep things and feelings where going preytty good up until a little bit ago. She askedme for a big old hug. Something she we hadn't shared for a couple days, Couch`n'all. Well, about the time we were about to break our clinhes, I tried reaching for a little reminder as to where we were leaving off. She asked me, "What are you doing?"
Just reaching for some chaulk to mark where I'm leaving off." I admitted.
Well'lp, here we go again, It's looking like another night on the couch.
Gotta go. Thinking about the next dessert she's going to forgive me with?
