Non displaced fracture

I Think if I remember it means cracked or broken but not out of place

You got it TB!! A non-displaced fracture is a cracked bone that has not moved. The bone doesn't have to be set back into place. If the bone is in a place that doesn't move (like the face) it will heal without surgery. If it is in someplace that can move it would need a cast until it heals to make sure it doesn't get displaced.
