Whatcha doing this    Posted 02-27-2004 at 14:27:01       [Reply]  [No Email]
Well it has been a rather long week for me....we had well trouble. All is good now and I am glad the weekend is here. Made me wonder what you all had planned?

Have a great one!

There's no such thing as a weekend on a livestock farm. Animals know nothing of days off. They're hungry every day. If the grain runs out I have to grind what ever day that should be. This Summer if it's a hay cutting day, I cut hay. If it's a hay rakeing day, I rake hay. Whe that hay is at the proper misture content, I bale it.
Whatever it takes, the weather, the season, A day off can lose a crop, come-up short on Winter feed.
The best I get is an hour or two here`n'there for a little visit or important man talk (gossip denied).
