We have a pine board that is in our house and is painted white. The trouble is, is that it has knots on it, that always shows through the paint. Is there anyway to prevent them from showing through? Thank you.

I would try the KILZ. If it is rough around the knots I would try sanding them good before using the kilz. If there are open spots, holes, or ect... try filling them with drywall compound then sanding them, then Kilz. I have done it before and the knots no lnger show through.

Good luck.

Try using shelac or a product called Kilz.
