My name is Sue and right now I(myself and 17 year old daughter) own a 10 acre homestead. I realize that there are probably many people out there that ask this all the time just because but we really need help.
I recently was released from the hospital(again) and came home to a foreclosure notice. I am disabled and right now have only my daughters job at mcd's to go on. Yes, I have applied for social security and was turned down twice already but I guess that's what they do. I am a very proud person who is not begging but please if you can spare only just a dollar to help it would be so helpful. If you can send 5 or more dollars I will send you a recipe cd that has 100's of recipes on it. No I'm not trying to sell it but I have never asked for help without giving in return. I don't have a web site as I am a touch dumb in that respect but you can email me. I've always been the one to help out and haven't ever had a problem with it. Please if you can help us out in any way I'm begging you, help us keep our home and pay it forward. Any and all questions etc. will be answered, this is for real. I can and will send photos if you need them to prove I am truthful.
I do have a paypal account set up if you'd like to use it. I've even been trying to sell things on ebay. I don't know what else to say except thank you for just reading this and may the light of a new day shine happiness your way.

if your situation is true may god be with you, if not may god show you what happens to cheats. My concern is like many posts. Do you have the internet in your home and if so why-when apparently your finiancial resources are so meager? My renters this past month was 30 days late with the rent-yet he still found the money to buy a newer mustang(that does not meet the families needs and is in essence his toy)and keep his motorcyle on the road. Talk show host Dave Ramsey would call this "a little spoiled brat mentality". I would have put them out but she solicites my symphathy-which is growing pretty thin. Ultimately I feel for their 2 kids ages 3 and new born. As it was said about Elvis Presley-sometime you cannot save someone from themselves. I think your time and energy would be better spent selling the items from the recipes than trying to obtain money from people you do not even know. The internet is full of scams and we all are tired and leary of em. Sometimes money issues are a direction from god himself. It is interesting to note that you never give your full address/location. I am not saying that I would not donate-the lord helps those who help themselves. Sometimes moving is the only option. Realize that any equity in the home will be surrendered to you. If there is no equity one must ask what type of decisions placed you in this trouble. Not everyone is destined to be a home owner-a fallacy among our western civilization. You never asked for advice nor gave information in which to make a sound decision on your part only for money. Maybe thats the problem in your life, money first all else second.

Its March 1, you should have cancelled your internet last month. Thats about $20 a month right there.

cancel cable or satelite, sell your TV and VCR and the Gameboy and quit smoking the 2 packs a day, and quit drinking. water is free.

I can help little lady, you let me sell you a few fertilizer tanks for that ten acres and we will both make money. I am well known out in Pecos and well connected in Texas political circles, just ask LBJ. Send me your paypal account info and I will mail you my fertilizer tanks. B.S.E

Don't sound as if you have any specialized farming going on there. Why not SELL 5 acres of land? Actually if you need more than 2 acres around your house yer gonna be cutting a lot of grass.
My nose tells me I stepped in something you know a horse named Blue?????

Times are indeed tough sue and i wish you well. With some 12 million people out of jobs, my best suggestion is to vote now with every dollar you spend and vote in november so we can maybe fix this dilemna. Your family has our prayers. :)

Where is this homestead? How far from town? Any mineral rights or water rights? How long have you owned it? How much are the taxes? How much is the mortage payment? How much do you need to call off the creditor for awhile? Give us some figures to work with and you may have some good fortune.

Otherwise, take your scam and scram.

Several years ago my husband lost his job. We weathered that storm by looking at all our expenditures and figuring out what we needed and what we didn't. If we were in that spot again, one of the first things I'd get rid of would be Internet service. Yes, I'd miss it, but it isn't necessary. Cable TV is another thing we learned we could do without. At the very least, you can find a cheaper Internet provider than AOL. After you've gotten down to the basics, THEN you might try begging.

I am a very proud person "who is not begging" but please if you can spare only just a dollar to help it would be so helpful. Please if you can help us out in any way "I'm begging you," help us keep our home and pay it forward. So, are you begging or not?

sue    Posted 03-01-2004 at 17:33:58       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Well, thank you all who have called me a liar. first, this is no scam, but I guess this is just a place to gripe instead of help. second, I can't sell 5 acres because the land is not paid for or I would. I don't have cable tv, video games etc. anyway, enough said. Like I said thank you for reading it and some real suggestions instead of nastyness would have been even nicer. Please if you have any other nasty remarks, don't send them. Trust me, I've heard them already.

Sue..I resent you feeling badl about people that you don't know..and as I don't know them either I can only say when ya throw out dirty water the land may begin ta STINK for a bit..what that means is..don't pop in here with no intro at all asking these people who are suffering in their own way for help..they don't know you and you don't know them..Do u want help..ask for a land grant..have problems..go to the Disabilities Counsel in your state..Need assistance with your payments and loans for your home..Go to HUD homes or the Daisy May Foundation..Go on the internet and search for Grant and Loan assistance..go to and find some NOT ask these good people for their hard earned money!! They give and give and give as is WRONG to ask them for this and they should be ashamed for calling you out like this rather than ignoring you but you SHOULD be ashamed for putting ANY of us in this type of position to have to tell u where to go for this help when THAT was what you should have asked in the first for you being a lesbian..if you are..that is neither here nor there so ignore anyone who insults you for that reason..good luck and God bless..write to me if I can be of any other words..helping you find resources..

"can't sell land because it's not paid for"?

Bull. Happens all the time.

Here are some real suggestions. Is the land wooded or cleared? If it is wooded, sell the timber. If it is cleared and you are unable to work it,lease the land out to a neighboring farmer. Is your house very large? If it is you might want to rent rooms out or room and board for even more money. If there is any large construction or road building in your area the men on the job are living in motel rooms and eating fast food.Print up some flyers on your computer and hang them up near these sites. These workers will gladly pay more for a quiet room and some real home cooking.Do you have any farm equipment that you can sell? If you do sell it and take the money and put in a few trailer spaces and rent them out to workers also.
