Some may not relize it but if a picture is allready posted on the net you dont have to upload it to the photo gallary. you can just copy the address URL from ware it is and post it. as such
That way it saves Kim space and thair server, serves it up. just a thought.
And no thats not me

My next try.    Posted 03-02-2004 at 10:08:15       [Reply]  [No Email]

Fern,

It looks like you are still having problems posting your pictures.

I'll try to help.

First, go to your photo in the Photo Gallery. The real picture, not the thumbnail. Hold your mouse over the picture, and then press the right button on the mouse. A menu should appear. At the bottom, you should see "Properties". Left click Properties. About midways down, you will see "Address (URL):". The is the actual address of your picture. Place your mouse over the start of the address and hold it down and move the mouse to the end of the address. Release the mouse button. The address should now be highlighted. Now press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys at the same time. This is called "Copy". You now have the address of your picture in the paste buffer.

You are now ready to start your post on the forum. Inside the text box where you type your message, you can enter HTML to show the picture. To do this, enter the following:

<img src="{address of your picture}"> (Leave out the {})

To put the address of your picture in, press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys at the same time. This is called "Paste".

Now when you preview your message, you should see your picture in the preview. If not, you have done something wrong.

As an example, here are 2 of your pictures from the Photo Gallery:

Picture 2:

Good luck and post back if you are still having problems,
Danny
