I loaded our 6 week old feeder pigs into a trailer & took em up to the corner & put out the "pigs for sale" sign.Of course you get a lot of looky-looz,& you get a lot of folks that say "gimmie yer number & I'll call ya tomorro".4 hours of sitting on the corner & no sale. Then a guy in a fairly new cadillac drove up.I was thinking this was another looky-loo.He bought the whole litter & he wants our next litter also, which should drop today.Just goes to show...ya never know !!! (he lived only about 12 miles away...I was happy to deliver them to his door)

I would have bought a few. I have GOT to move, lol. I am gonna have a mini farm in my backyard to move to the next house.

Glad you sold some pigs, always nice to line the pockets. :)

I am gonna have to wait 2 more years. Ian wants EVERYTHING paid off before we go from here. He says the less we have to pay out, the more house and land we can get, to just be patient and wait. I am trying, but in the meantime, lol, I am collecting small livestock. May end up with a couple of pygmy goats next year, or maybe sooner. ;) Then theres the chickens. I just discovered I like farm animals better than traditional pets.

They just sent me this years tax assessment and raised my SEV 36K which means the value went up
72K and my taxable value up 8K .
you might want to get where you want TO BE before two years. My Taxes went up $210 If I sold the place right now , who ever bought it their taxes would be almost more than a person with a normal income to afford or want to afford anyway . With just this years increase their tax INCREASE would be $1000 or more .

Around here there is talk of not having to pay taxes anymore if you own the home. They have so many renters around here now, I think they want to reward the ones who are actually purchasing a home! LOL!

I would move if I could, but I can't, so I won't. They say all good things come to those who wait. So we will see, we will see.

I talked with the guy for about 3 hours. He used to be in the pig bussiness, then had a stroke so he had to get out of it.I reckon when he saw me he got some old memories back cuz he said he was gonna get back into it.He had a nice out-fit at his place, all ready to go.I'm certainly interested in seeing how much bussiness we can do.

You never know who your buyer will turn out to be.
That made your day I'm sure, D.STARR.
