I have this one when I was only 18 in Vietnam. That was 36 years ago. I could not even grow a mustach! That is when I started one and it has not been off since. Man have I aged!!!

What are YOU talkin' about. You look like an all american football hero. I date that picture either as late 60's or early 70' close am I?

you are close    Posted 03-05-2004 at 19:16:04       [Reply]  [No Email]
1970, when life was good and my hair was dark:^)

Cindi    Posted 03-05-2004 at 19:02:39       [Reply]  [No Email]
Surprises thus far....

Kellyís blonde, I wasnít expecting that.

Also had cowgirl pegged as taller with dark hair, not a little bitty dinky thing,

Gene I had you as less cleanly coiffed
and a little more Harley-ish,

Salmoneye, I had you as blond and bookish, with glasses, as you tend to refer to yourself as a geek, wasnít expecting the exotic look at all,

Fawteen considers himself as not hunkish when I know better,

TO looks like he should have a twelve string guitar hanging around his neck, and looks much at home in a stetson making me homesick all over again,

I got to see Ian, whom I have heard much about but never seen, and Kelly that dress is gorgeous as I suspected,

and Deadcarp donít think you got away with hiding your hunky self up there in another post (grin)

cowgirlj    Posted 03-05-2004 at 19:27:05       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Isn't it funny how we conjure up pictures of people in our minds just by conversation. At work, I always picture what clients might look like that I am talking to on the phone and most of the time I am dead wrong.

This was taken last summer in BC at the ranch where I used to live. My sister came to visit and I spent my time teaching the boys as much as I could about the horses and giving them rides.

Jeez Cindi. You are married to Hank William Jr.'s double. I can't see the picture of you though, it won't load, only the one of you and Fred together, and I had to go to the photo gallery to see that.

Yep, he's...    Posted 03-05-2004 at 18:26:44       [Reply]  [No Email] honey. He does bear a resemblance Hank, but he acts and talks just like Charles Bronson.

My hair was as long as yours about 6 months ago. Now I could only get a 2 inch pony tail and I am thinking of cutting it again for some reason? Mark H.

The 'Christmas Spirit'    Posted 03-05-2004 at 18:29:49       [Reply]  [No Email]
Exists in all of us...

If we allow it to reign in our daily lives, We can not only achieve our necessary 'adult' goals, but we can keep alive the 'child' that lurks in all of us...

We use the 'lights' as our nightlight in the bathroom...Lots cheaper than letting a 60 watt bulb burn all night for a 6 year old to see her way to the potty...

Santa is just for fun LOL...I swear this is just now, and less than 5 feet from the mirror I took my 'self portrait' in...

Nothing wrong with wanting Christmas to last all year...Ask my Kid...She gets it...

PS.....    Posted 03-05-2004 at 18:30:58       [Reply]  [No Email]

Fawteen    Posted 03-05-2004 at 16:59:07       [Reply]  [No Email]
Young, yes.

Hunky? Not hardly.

I started out buck-toothed and jug-eared. Progressed to gangly and acne-scarred. In my late twenties and early thirties I was almost presentable. Now I'm fat, bald and wrinkled.

But I'm paid for...

Now THAT'S cute!

KellyGa    Posted 03-05-2004 at 16:29:20       [Reply]  [No Email]
Why is it we married women deteriorate over time and the men get more distinguished looking??? I tell you why, we spent way too much time taking care of them than ourselves!!!!!!

I too, looked better when I was younger. Oh well, theres only one way to stop aging, and I don't want that option. :) SO I will just keep aging, and make the best of it.

cowgirlj    Posted 03-05-2004 at 19:42:15       [Reply]  [Send Email]

KellyGa    Posted 03-05-2004 at 16:36:41       [Reply]  [No Email]
Thanks, if you want to see my full dress, I will post it. Most beautiful dress I ever saw, got it at the Penneys Outlet for only 400 dollars, believe it?? Don't tell anybody, but I am really a brunette, lol. I kept it blonde forever, til I had Shelby, then I went through a dark phase, colored it mahoghony red, and then went blonde again, and keep it blonde now. Just hate my real hair color, it is plain jane brown. :) I will post a few more nice wedding pics for you, have to give me a few minutes, I have to run em thru the scanner.

as concerns this picture. I think everybody has a point in their lives when they were at their best. This was mine. The year before, I was married to a drug addict, I was starving to death, scrwany, unhealthy, ick. Then I went home to mom and she put the weight back on me, bought me clothes, etc. The year after I started having babies and I got pudgy. Have been ever since. I was working for a photographer when this photo was taken and it was one of a hundred, as he was setting up new equipment and this was one of the best. I'm glad I have it, it reminds me of a good time in my life. I was dating my hubby.

Imagine being 14 years old and only knew how to dress western....then at 17 had hair to my waist till I was alot of stares and comments when I was bull riding...but the real friends I had made it worth while.
Somethings I miss back then....but seriously I'm having to much fun now to go
