Hi back! This is a great sight and I love all the help everyone seems to give. Right friendly folk! This has been a great site for any information that is needed on a homesteader want-to-be or someone who is already doing it. I think you'll like the stay here.

Well, It's nice to see a neighbor jump on board. We live on the North end of your alley. Welcome.

Welcome Aboard!

Keep your head down and yur barn boots handy!
Cattle Puddles get kinda deep here at times.
Personally I always go barefoot as i like to step in em and squish em twixt my toes.

And they smell better than my feet do in shoes so it is a win win for me...

;-)

Welcome aboard, Po. This is a good place to ask and answer questions or just lurk.
Never seen no tornader up heeyah and can't say as I want ta. Seems to me that any coloration you see is either from reflection or refraction. That yeller color may be from dirt the tornader has already pulled up inter the sky before it got to you.
Where in tornado alley be ye?

PHB- Welcome to the board. Don't sweat them tornadoes, becuz they only last a minute or two and give a strong warning they are close by on the radio.

Some years back I was out North of Okie City when the AM and CB radios went nuts with a loud buzzing. I was driving into a heavy rain and wind storm. When I turned the radios back on out West of town I heard the news that a tornado had just gone thru a SE suburb.

Like I say, there are natural warnings if a person is paying attention. IHank

Lived here in the middle of Tornado Alley all my life. Seen a few. A few very close misses. Still keeping my fingers crossed.
