Thanks for you concern.

Actually we just got back. We checked with the Twin City Spine Center on Thursday. Aparently this is gonna take some time to put together. The operation is gonna take about 12 hours so he (the doctor) has to put a team together. He discribed it as kind of three operations in one. I really had no ideal what he was talking about. He has to go into the back do something, then flip her over, go in throught one of the ribs colapse a lung, remove the offending bone around the spine and replace it with some other bone. I think he wants to use her rib. Pump her lung back up, flip here over and put the rods back in. This will take some time to set up. they are talking about May or June. In the mean time she is suppose to donate her own blood to herself so she will have it for the operation.

If this don't make since its because I really didn't under stand what he was talking about. I better understood when he tried to explain the procedure as like heating a pice of metal (the backbone) using a gear puller to strighten it out, the weld and brace it to hold it straigt.

Anyway thanks again for your concerns and prayers

Thanks for the update, Kraig. Again, if I can help you with any info in the area, let me know. Good luck to you both.
