Well now I have a house full of babies. My chow mix had a litter of 3 pups and my husband brought home 6 3 day old ducks and we have chicks on order, plus guiena eggs in the incobator. man I am over welmed with babies. it's fun though.

Ain't it wunnerful? :) I have the 5 buff chicks, they are about ready to go outside, and 5 more on the way. Seems like spring is in the air, ahhh... I love it.

No spring here except the babies, it's 30 outside with 2 new inches of snow on the ground. But the babies make it worth while. How's your chick doing now Kelly? Did you switch to pine bedding? That's what I use for all my animals, including the horses, most the time.

She didn't make it, died the next day. :( I did switch to the pine shavings right away, cheaper anyway. Got 5 speckled sussex (female) coming to me at the end of March. By that time the buffs will be outside. Its cold and windy here today, one more day of this, and then its supposed to be in the 60's, I can't wait.
