We build our wood fired oven according a free help from traditionaloven.com website run by Mr. Rado Lovis. We have it's dome finished, now the roof and a few plants around. My husband plans to take a week off to do the rest so it's done well before this Easter holidays. Our friends cook already lovely pizzas in the same as ours, last night we made 6 pizzas in their place. This food is hard to compare as well as activity experiences.

We are searching for any good recipes - ideas for wood burning ovens please ??? I tried to add a link and one image from the site. Happy Easter everyone.

As a bricklayer by trade I like these. The best pizza I ever ate was from a wood fired oven in Frankfurt Germany back in 71. I was waiting transfer papers to the front lines and there was a little shop right out the front gate that had a line of GI's about a mile lone waiting to step inside and get a pizza. God only knows how good they were. I am talking the best.

Thinking of putting in a small brick retaining wall...I'm in the Northeast with cold Winter's and all....would you say I need to go deeper than 4 feet down to prevent frost/freeze damage to the foundation of that wall?
