Just woke up and recovering from last night's Kid Rock concert. While I wouldn't recommend this concert to my parents or little kids...If you are a rocker THIS IS THE CONCERT TO GO TO!!! We have been to every rock show from AC/DC to Zeppelin and the Kid is definatly going to find his place in music history. He is a skilled musician, playing piano, drums, guitar, keyboard (and that record stratching thing I am too old to know what its called!) He did homage to our favorites, by riffing AC/DC, Deep Purple, Bad Company, Lynerd Skynerd & ZZ, and then went into a "country" set. Loved the Hillbilly Stomp! and the blues piano.

Cowman thought he was going to get mugged, but later admitted, apart from the $10 beers he had a pretty good time! The Spanish Classical guitars are coming soon to the symphony, I will soothe his soul then!!

Thought that Kid Rock was alright.
That was until he decided that the American Flag was some sort of Mexicam Poncho made for wearing and not respecting.

I would not buy anyone a bowel of soup if they are starving to death that treats the Flag the way he did at the Super Bowel.

Sorry he got put into my "I would not whizz in your face if your eye balls are on fire" file.

that kid rock caused me grief with his stupid antics at the supper bowl. i was designated by the commander of our leigon, to draft a letter that would be sent stating our displeasure with him and the whole half time show.

The thing that gets me is the FCC wants to up the fine from one million to ten for the station that brocast such garbage.

I say fine the station one million and hit the actor jackasz that pulls such stunts ten million dollars.

Janet Jackson, Jim Carey, Howard Stern, Brinany Spears, Madonna etc. Gets 10 million dollars jerk out of their back account a few times and the BS would stop dead in it tracks.

Well, I guess to each his own. Glad I have the freedom to listen to what I want.

My mother wears her blue sweater with stars & stripes, and the minister's wife wears a flag pin made out of plastic beads and a safety pin, and my aunt (who was National President of the American Legion Auxiliary in the 80's)used to drink from a set of glasses emblazoned with the flag (which she received from Roselyn, Mrs. Jimmy Carter, by the way). It's all a matter of perspective.

People used to burn books too.
