Well the big birds are back. They were here last fall - i think it was them - anyway 2 white ones and a grey sibling came cruising in and Apparently these guys have had other handouts recently - they hissed some but came right up to bruce when he was scattering cracked corn from the dock. We have about 50 honkers laying up now too, but they're shyer. Critters are fun :)

A Ways out back on the duck pond we've had a yearly pr of gease hatching two clutches each season. Last yr, we're think one o their offspring joined them with a mate and raised a single clutch of their own. They are fun to watch and after yrs of comming back their rust in us has increased, not heading for the rushes shoud we pay them an closer visit. One day I ould like to errect a walkway out through the cattails for better/closer looks.
Well! I can dream, can't eye?
