Well as the subject line says..thanx for your wonderful suggestions and help..whoever wrote that I should have listed the make etc..that was true..sorry..with all the other carap..heeheehee..going on it wasn't first and foremost on my mind..I had my fuel filter changed and found whateva the pipe is leading from the NEW water pump is leaking antifreeze so that has to be fixed..also my muffler is on its last..for the person who tried fruitlessly to call me or one of my friends here a city slicker?? The car has been BABIED as I said and just HAD a tune-up and an oil change about 2 weeks prior to all the other stuff with the water pump..I did in fact ask my actual mechanic how much it would have cost regarding service and he said it was a 3 HOUR JOB!! mechanic MAY NOT BE the SHARPEST TOOL in the shed but he IS one of the MOST honest guys I for the OTHER mechanic?? Well..I DID talk to a friend of mine who will be talking to a friend of his who will get the DO in fact reap what you sew don't you..I am not a city slicker..flatlander maybe..I have been here for over 9 winters..I have a SUCCESSFUL garden EVERY year naturally and I judge NO ONE..THAT is the difference between a city-slicker and a country you don't mind..I think I will follow the generations of country women before me and don my funny straw hat and poke at all the ice in the CONCRETE!!!! AAHAHAHA!!

Aprille, So it is running right now? I remember the post a few days back. There was only one giving you a rough time, i think all others were trying to help. Hope it's working now. I live in the hills but I can get along with flatlanders too. Well mostly. Lol :)

So yer sayin that a fuel filter was the cause of yer trouble? You got off pretty cheap, then.
There's plenty of honest mechanics around. I used to get all my work done in Plymouth at the Irving until the previous owners sold out. I miss them. Never had any fear that I was getting screwed by them.
