Ever try kerosene to clean your windows?
1 cup of kerosene in one quart of very warm water will clean the window without leaving streaks and the water will bead and roll right off.

I NEVER HAVE HEARD OF SUCH A THING. A WONDERFUL WINDOW CLEANER IS VINEGAR AND WATER, USE NEWSPAPER TO CLEAN THE WINDOW, IT WILL MAKE IT SHINE AND NO STREAKS.

Back in the early 50s I would some times help out in a Sinclair gas station. The ownwer would have me wash customers cars. He had me add a cup of kerosene to the wash water. Made the whole car shine. Poor mans wax job.
