John Effing Kerry    Posted 03-13-2004 at 12:20:44       [Reply]  [No Email]

There's more where this came from.

LBJ and his wife's company was the war mongers and more. One soldier having to die for this crap was too many. The aires ought to be held responsible, such as any others that profit from starting wars. It could have ended in a short time as this one could, but what profit is in that?

I liked the pictures the other day of Kerry and Gomer, that about sums it up for me.

First off I vote , But Never once has that vote made a Spit of Differance in how things in the town , state , or counrty run any better or worst for that matter ,,, Given a chioce I would like to see thing just like they were under Teddy Roosvelt , but that will never happen there has never been or will be any adminastration that did and will have it's dirty dark secrets .... If you really want to see a change in the USA , then it would take another 1929 crash to do it ..... That is why 9/11 has hit home so hard not the tragic loss of life but the fact you pull the money system out all current control and those that hold it will be null and void. It does not matter what party or who holds the office the only change is who is making the money and how and from who ..... JMHO
BILL G.

We survived Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon and Lyndon Johnson. We could probably survive that turkey if we had to.

you are wrong    Posted 03-13-2004 at 15:13:09       [Reply]  [No Email]
a lot of American men and women did not survive LBJ, over 58,000 in fact.

bill b v    Posted 03-13-2004 at 15:47:27       [Reply]  [No Email]

we will have a choice in nov. beween a traitor, aiding and abetting a enemy (kerry) and a deserter (bush) anyone AWOL more than 30 days is a deserter both charges are punishable to death by firing squad in time of war.

Larger way to look at it    Posted 03-13-2004 at 15:40:10       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Since WWII alot of American service member gave their lives in the containment of Communism. This possibly prevented a much larger (in the nuclear age) war that surely could have had far reaching inpact on the way we live now. It wasn't nor is it now one President at any fault. The majority elects these men, and we are aware of their foriegn policy outlook. If your in a minority group, blame our policy on the majority.

sounds like the domino theory to me. It was also proved false. I stand by my previous statement, over 58,000 did not survive LBJ. Ho Chi Minh was another ally that we let get away from us, then had to fight again. LBJ inheirited the problem but made poor choices. He had it within his power to win, withdraw or negotiate a workable truce. He did non of the above.

Burrhead    Posted 03-13-2004 at 16:34:11       [Reply]  [No Email]
Ron don't mislead folks. All 58,000 Americans did'nt buy the farm during LBJ.

If you'll remember at the time it was Tricky Dick who campaigned with a "Secret Plan" to end the war.

Truth was that Tricky Dick escalated the war and there was no secret plan except to bug the Watergate and cut inside deals with Iran, Iraq and Pakistan.. Kinda like these days with The Cheneyburton Bushomatic war machine turned loose on America.

If folks would do a little checking in on the Kerry pix they turned out to be a hoax. Even the conservative talk shows admitted that. All except Rush and he had'nt had his vicodin that day and took the Reagan response of *I don't recall*.

And no sir I aint taking political sides. I voted for George Wallace. If he had been elected we would have bombed them folks back down to the ground and some of us could have stayed home from the Tricky Dick banquets.

Scrub won't let pix be taken of the body bags coming home nowadays. I wonder why??

Scrub was gonna invade Maui til a democrat told him we already own it and there aint no oil in it.

I just wonder when he's gonna add Canada to the axle of evil.

AHHHHH, BURR,    Posted 03-13-2004 at 17:55:07       [Reply]  [No Email]
Gotta take some issue with your post.
I recall that Ford said he followed through on Nixons schedule and plan. Hmmmm mebbe it was true huh?
The Kerry pix may be a hoax, but PULEEZE! Mother Jones news to compare the records? Why not let the DNC post the article? OOOPS never mind that's just what you posted!

You don't take political sides?? HELLOOOO!! You voted for Wallace, and he would have bombed them all?? Remember the Congressional restriction? Remember the cuffs that congress put on the whole war? Remember the party?

Remember the body bag pix from Nam? Remember all the good it did? Sure helped the war effort, and made the families of casualties feel better each night. 'course the pix of returning boys being spit on and cursed helped alot too didn't it.

Scrub, was gonna GO to maui, then he found out that Kennedy already claimed it as a hideout, everyone knows that he can't be touched near water.

The Bush, Cheney war machine unleashed on america? Make sure you claim some of those voices as dependents on your 1040, you're feeding them so you might as well take the deduction.

Finally as for including Canada in the axle,,, or even the axis, of evil?
Sheeese, seems to me that Canada has been a much better friend to America than Bill Clinton ever was. So that would put Clinton on top of the axis?

Later
Ron

I might could understand yer complaint a little better if you could explain where Bill Clinton fits into this Cheneyburton-Bushomatic war regime.

Yessir I full well remember the body bags and their effect. The Prez we had then could'nt cover over the death counts.

Nowadays ye have Congo Leesa get on the Sunday morn news and down play it. Then after the death count gets down played in the name of anti-terrorism they show the Prez wearing military uniforms and speaking to troops.

If Scrub loved flying and war so much why did he stay home when he cudduh been in one himself??

I agree somewhat, I used to have a poster with nixon sitting on the john in an elevator with a finger pointing up saying "escalate". The majority of losses came before nixon though. He should have pulled us out sooner IMO. The war was already lost and it goes way back before 1960. LBJ, even tho I was from Texas and voted for him once, was a poor leader. Well, I don't have to tell you about him, we all know who pulled the strings in that household. If Sam Rayburn had not been the powerhouse he was LBJ couldn't have gotten the VP spot.We also have to blame Mcnamara for his part. Viet Nam is a really touchy subject with me, I saw lots of body bags and lots of crippled guys on that hospital ship while it was in vietnam. I was lucky that I had a good duty station. I support Bush but the longer this drags on the more I cringe, for this generation.
