Yesturdays election in Spain accompliched exactly what the terriorist wanted. What was that thing Patrick Henry said?

A sad day. I just hope there are enough Americans with backbones and staying power to send Kerry packing back to Massachusetts with his tail behind his legs.

The media is trying to elect Kerry, and have been misrepresenting conditions in Iraq. Heard today that a poll in Iraq had 57% feeling better off (only 19% worse off), and 70% feel they have a bright future. Something is going right in Iraq, and the media is doing a good job of not mentioning it. Instead, they find one guy in the 19% group and interview him on the air, some ignorant uneducated U.S. citizens see the interview and draw the conclusion that Iraq is a big mess like Viet Nam.

Very bad thing for Spain as I see things. I do not see an end of terrorism in Spain because of the outcome of the election there. But, more thought provoking, What happens if Kerry is elected and liberals once again gain the upper hand in this country? During the Clinton administration I felt that we were seeing the beginning of the end for this country. Further, I felt that an election placing Al Gore in charge was the end. I didn't feel that we could recover from Al Gore then and still do. I'd like to hear from you folks. What you think about the situation and future for this country and our allies or should I say ally? It doesn't seem that the checks and balances system works very well here anymore.

Do they not know they were targets before 9-11. Attempts were made by terrorists in Spain long before the Iraq war. Do you think they are still a target or will their "submission" make them more of a "partner" with terrorists?

WOW!! Have you pulled your head out yet or just inserted it further? You know very well what Bob(ny) meant. I don't know him except from his posts but they indicate that he is a kind and caring person. He was only saying what others, too are feeling: maybe now we can stop sending tax money to people who are begging to bring about their own demise.

are you not in touch with the real world? don;t you know that the real world is the dollar bill.
don't you read about the families of the people killed tn the trade center fighting over who gets the most money from the city if ths country had to live an a fair barter system it would not survive. wake up and smell the MONEY.

I'm glad you responded.

I'm not a decsiple of gloom. But, imagine this:
Yesturday Spain bowed down to Terrorism, Tomorrow, Say, France, or some other European Country. Then the domino effect sits in and one by one, the nations follow suit. Until finally, America falls. Then, Money will be all that matters. But, for now, I'm satisfied to hang on to a little compassion for my fellow man, and cling to a little old fashioned patrotism.

Have a good day........gfp

You can add the Spainish onto the list of cowards, right along with the French and Germans. Makes me sick.

Yep, the terrorists accomplished their goal. Scared the Spanish into submission.Truly unfortunate. They have taken the first step to surrendering their freedom, they have already given their freedom of choice to the terrorists.

the leaders of France, Germany and Russia had solidified behind Pres. Bush on Iraq,
do you suppose the Spanish would have been less inclined to turn yellow? Or, are they just plain brain dead? Don't they know that terror knows no limits?

The newly elected prez ran on a platform that opposed the current prez's affiliation with Pres. Bush on Iraq. But, in his first speech after the election results were in, he offered one minute of silent prayer for the people that perished in the train bombings, Then, he pledged to fight terror.----------- HA!!!! That's the kind of thing you'd expect from "Crawfish,Backdown Kerry".......gfp

Even better...    Posted 03-15-2004 at 11:54:33       [Reply]  [No Email]
There are 'some people' in the US that now say that the attacks on Spain were perpetrated by Al'Quaida due to Spains' support of the US led invasion of Iraq...

Strange that it is the same people that were telling us a while back that there was no link between Iraq and Al'Quaida and that we went into Iraq 'unilaterally'...

The "news" media's sole purpose from now til election day is to do everything in it's power to ambush President Bush's re election. So I find nothing they "report" surprising.

I just hope there are enough intelligent registered voters who will not be influenced by it and will vote. I hope they go out and vote for Presidnet Bush. I shudder to think what will happen if Kerry is elected.

Looks like they're gonna turn into Neville Chamberlains. You got it exactly right, Alias.
