I have a Mac 160s that will start and idle fine.It smokes and then dies when accelerated. I may not have the right gas/oil mix and have no owners manual for this older model. Any info on the right ratio would be greatly appreciated.

Most people over-oil them. The oil is an upper-cylinder lube and it carries excess heat away from the heads. That's all. They can last 20 years on 25/1 mix in summer and 50/1 in wintertime. If they show oil in the exhaust when you're running one, you're using too much. :)
