.....there's only about 5% of uplifting news around here this morning, and 95% of gloom and doom.
The patriotic masses buried under paper work, threats of terrorism around every corner, and a kountry tale about about the ruination of new uses for an old potatoe drink.
I'm not sure whether I shall ever laugh again before this foremoon.
Here's hoping a two week old foul makes it.
Its indeed a fine exampled a day for a little guy called Grumpy.

I woke up to a pair of Canadian Geese on my pond this morning. They normaly do not land on it. So the day started different for me. Won't be long till there are Baby Ducks cruising around growing up. Mark H.

Better be getting your weather guesser on. Nationally we're all 40mph winds pushing 10"/12" snow. Enjoy.

Well, the good news is...    Posted 03-16-2004 at 05:33:08       [Reply]  [No Email]
it is still snowing here. We are 'sposed to get about 5-6 inches of it today. I got plenty of firewood outside the door, the horse likes her make-shift stall, my wife and step-daughter are home on spring break, we knew the snow was coming so we don't need anything from town, and I got all day to do nothing but sit here and conversate with you fine folks and take naps if I want to.
See? it is a matter of perspective. It all looks good to me.
And to top it off, the coffee tastes especially good this morning...

Notice how the rest of the whole nation has contributed to soften your green lawn colors for St Patty's day.
Just seems as though everybody loves ya all???

Green?    Posted 03-16-2004 at 05:06:35       [Reply]  [No Email]
I saw some moss peeking through the leaves, but that is about the extent of green around here...

My good news is hot water and a my electric hair dryer!
It is good news when I get several hours of relief from that unbearable poison ivy itching!

Sorry but that seems to have been the dominant thing on my mind. It is hard to think of any thing else when you have poison ivy.

I will try to drop the subject now that I have found some help, sorry if I have sounded like a broken record.
;-)
