I believe you asked a question a while back about a homemade incubator. Our first baby chick hatched this morning from our homemade one. It is constructed from a simple styrfoam cooler, a drop light, a 25 watt bulb, a used aluminum pie pan, and a small baker rack to place eggs on. we had a small thermometer to unsure correct temp. Our total cost since we had alot of the stuff anyway was 1.50 for the cooler. We used our own eggs. It will work. Will post picture for anybody who is interested.

I'd love to see a pic of the incubator. I would like to try and hatch some of my eggs too. Thanks.

Couldn't pullup the site for a bit there! Yeah, I would love to see pictures of it, and the newly hatched chick too! I dropped my film at the one hour at Walmart, BUT...their machines were down, so maybe they will be ready tomorrow. Sounds like it worked perfect. :)
