The last couple of weeks have spoiled me weather wise. That's all ended now, four or five inches on the ground and more coming down. I guess it's good I didn't take the chains off the skid steer yet. This is coming out of the north east so I can't blame toolman, it must be Les' fault.Lol

Heck, it's 8 pm and not a flake here yet. Better get going if we're going to get 4 to 7 like the TV says.
But that's just fine with me because it sure does help to keep the riffraff down and there's more riffraff every day.

we've been getting fat snowflakes all day. Dark is just closing in now, but our injured deer Baby was nibbling around the dock all afternoon. Bruce fixed goulash, then we stood awhile to watch her. She kept alerting to something across the river, and sure enough, here came another family of 3-4 deer moseying along across the river, and we watched their antics too. Several of those christmas card snow-globe scenes. Finally our cat Pepi tried to join the game and scared them all off. Darn nice way to pass the time. :)

Yep, we got it too, near 3 inches on the ground and more coming through Thursday night they say. Ours is swinging South of the Great Lakes, and I seem to be right on the line of the snow fall. Old John is about 40 miles South of here, and he said they barely had the grass covered.
To make it more fun, the wife and her daughter are on Spring break, so we are all sort of cozied in together for a few days, more, again, still. I think I might have to go to town for something or other tomorrow, can't work out in the neat white mud.
I take the blame. I did it. I was the one who kept reminding everyone that winter wasn't over till the 21st of week.

Had that snow yesterday near Iowa city, they forcast 1-2" (ended up with 10" in the back yard) the weatherman will not even admit that he really missed this one.

Used to a warm weather spoiling, I braved the elements to dig out some frozen wood revealed by the receeding snows. Manageg a 3/4t's load in the wood entry, before the cold setin. this will hopefully hole us for a couple weeks.
Wont it be Spring by then?

I hope it's about over here. The cold don't get you it's all the dangum rain we did'nt have but 3 frost this year.

Ever time it dries up to be thick crusty mud here comes another 2-3".
