Old wire fence

Lately I have been taking advantage of the nice weather and taking out some old fences. Most in the 50 35 to 50 year old range. What I have removed so far I can remember being built by my father but the next section that I want to remove I cannot remember being built so it predates my 56 years. This fence is unusual in that the stays are held in place by rings about 1/2" in diameter and all the strans and stays are approximately 10 gauge with 10 strans. Is anyone familiar with this type of fence and about how old will it be. Thanks muchly

Sounds like fence we had in a pasture, my father that started out with horses, called it horse wire, said it was to give without stretching so bad. with horses, believe that would date it to approx.1935 or before.
